The news stories offered by The American Press wil be written and edited by professionals, often laid off from the downsizing of corporate news providers.
The American Press will target underserved regions that either have no daily news sources, or do not have the resources to subscribe to one of the dominant news agencies.
Additionally, The American Press will provide opportunities to up-and-coming journalists.
